STUFF I HAVE DONE!
Find some of the work I have done over the last 7 years working as a website designer and a developer. I have also done extensive work using Flash AS2.0 and AMFPHP for flash remoting applications.

The goal of the website was to keep it standards compliant and of course reduce cluttering of the pages, making the pages load faster by optimizing the images and make it look good at the same time.

This website was developed for a client who wanted to showcase the beautiful Nainital valley and is a heaven for bird watchers. Lots of images meant I had to use an image rotator. Initially I used a flash based dynamic image rotator but then switched to jQuery and Gallerific Plus

The main role for me was to keep the website clean and updated. I had to change the way the gallery was viewed, used lightbox for it which is good for loading up images without loading the page. You should try lightbox if you haven´t already

After returning to India, I joined a company called IDEA Product Design as a developer/designer. The first thing was to come up with a good intranet for the company. This was a challenge as the content was not there in the first place. I used Joomla as the preferred content management system.

This website was developed while i was working with them. The company is based in Melbourne, Australia. I was the sole person responsible for developing, maintaining and updating the website. I was with them for two years. This website had hits of more than 5000 visits per day and therefore had to have strict stands compatibility which helped me to fine tune my skills. It was a very good learning experience for me.
